Have questions about going tiny? Wish you could talk to someone who’s been through it? Want to know about toilets and ladders and condensation and parking and how the heck ___ works? I can (probably) help.

How it works:

Cost is $1 per minute to make odd increments easy. Contact me via email to set up an agreeable time/length of conversation. Pay in advance though paypal etc or send a check. Talk on the phone or Skype with me at and for the agreed time and I will answer all questions to the best of my ability. I will time the sessions and give a few minutes notice before time is up. And that’s it, if you want to talk longer, set up another time following the above process. If you didn’t find the experience useful, get in touch and I will refund the full amount of whatever you paid. No questions, I really don’t care. I just want people to get something helpful out of it and if not, I don’t want your money.

Tiny house experience:

I built my home in 2011-12 and lived nearly 5.5 years full time tiny with a boyfriend and a big floppy dog (I live in a small house now). I had ZERO knowledge going into the build, a whole lot more when I was done, and bit more all the while as I live day in and day out in this unique and beautiful way. A few months after Little Yellow’s completion, I began working for the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company as a presenter. I worked there 3 fabulous years and taught over 40, 2 day workshops to thousands of people all over the country. I was asked all manner of bizarre and random questions during that time, so I am ready to hear what you want to know!

I have only built my one house. I am not a contractor, or an architect, or an engineer, or a zoning official, or a man. I don’t have the manly voice that makes people automatically believe I know what I’m talking about. Sometimes I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m a generally creative, wacky chick in a skirt who built a little house on a whim and stuck with it and learned and cooked and sewed and gott sick and cussed and had dinner parties and did the tiny-house-dance in an 18′ house for over 5 years with 2 people and a dog. That’s it.

Send me an email with your name, availability and how long you’d like consultation for. Let’s talk tiny, I look forward to hearing from you!
